Welcome to C.H.I.P.S. We have been protecting unionized employees and their families since 1981.

We are a "made in British Columbia" not-for-profit group benefits Plan with a mandate to provide the best health plan services for your hard-earned, hard-negotiated money.

We have worked for over twenty five years to offer health, dental, wage loss, and life insurance coverage to thousands of members of almost any legitimate local union (non-union staff of a union certification are also allowed to be covered). Since we are a not-for-profit Health & Welfare Plan, more of your benefit dollars are actually applied to benefits, as opposed to providing the profit and overhead requirements of an insurance company.

We now provide benefits and services to members in a wide diversity of enterprises (i.e. hotels, restaurants, janitorial, armoured car, courier services, radio, bus drivers, manufacturing, office workers...).
