PLAN CONSULTANT/ADMINISTRATOR

R. Spencer Mohart Insurance Consultants Ltd. was incorporated in 1980 and is our Plan Consultant and Administrator.

Prior to starting his own independent consulting business with his wife Sonia, R. Spencer Mohart was employed by the Medical Services Association (MSA, now known as Pacific Blue Cross) for sixteen years. The last seven of those sixteen years were spent as the Marketing Manager. In this position, Spencer was a member of the underwriting committee and was instrumental in the design and development of Extended Health and Dental plans in this province and country.

Spencer Mohart left MSA in 1979 to act as an independent benefits consultant on a variety of projects. In 1981, Spencer and his company acted as Consultant and Administrator during the creation of our Health and Welfare Plan. Therefore, R. Spencer Mohart Insurance Consultants Ltd. has been with us since the beginning.

While Spencer and Sonia still play vital roles in the company that they founded, their two children, Melanie Mohart (Secretary-Treasurer as of December 2007) and Greg Mohart (President as of December 2007), have welcomed the opportunity to continue with their tradition of honesty, integrity, and devotion to providing the best possible Health and Welfare benefits consulting and administration services to our membership.

Many of our members appreciate having their Extended Health and Dental claims administered by a "made in B.C." company. R. Spencer Mohart Insurance Consultants Ltd. believes that it is of the utmost importance for our members to have quick and easy access to their benefits administrator.
